Forever Valentino

valentino peacock purseWe’re all guilty of a little label-lovin’ – who isn’t?

As unclassy as it may be to admit to, there’s certainly something decidedly sensual about carrying a super-label bag – and it has a lot less to do with money than you might think.

After all, Valentino purses are certainly not the most expensive you will ever come across. They ARE expensive – but after looking at a few Hermes or Fendi offerings, you become blase about a grand here and there.

But that’s why Valentino is so easy to worship. In terms of their product, of course it’s beautiful – beautifully designed, beautifully crafted, beautifully advertised, and beautifully named… Valentino.

It’s got that old-school glamour that all the money in the world can’t fake – and that’s what’s so special. It’s that little nod to past glory that makes Valentino more than just a purse.

The purse pictured is the Embroidered Flap Bag – sold as an evening purse but quite adaptable to daytime wear thanks to the lack of sparkly and/or glittery bits.
It’s made of embroidered brown suede with gold leather and turquoise gems all mixing to create an extremely striking purse – definitely not the sort of purse every woman can carry off, but for those who can – kudos.

Purses may come and purses may go, but a Valentino is for life.
