Good old Gucci – just when we think the Fall collections might be a little too similar in style and appearance, along comes Gucci with its slightly odd creations, reminding us that there is always choice!
This particular little offering is the Gucci Aviatrix Medium Boston, a lovely boston bag made with leather trim and sand GG fabric.
The metal Gucci crest will delight the discerning purse collector, and the colours are wonderfully Holiday-appropriate.

Gucci IOU
I’m sure you don’t need to be reminded that a little something called Valentines Day upon us in two weeks… those of you lucky enough to have someone to think of really should get your skates on and be prepared.
This purse from Gucci is really an extremely special gift. Going by the name of the Mini Boston Bag, it’s a delicious concoction of soft cream leather and dusky pink velvet. It has a typical Gucci lock and chain to finish it off.
Really a perfect gift, wouldn’t you say?
Of course it is – apart from one very unfortunate glitch – it’s not available until May.
So, here’s a suggestion – buy some flowers and a lovely card, then insert a picture of this purse inside it with an ‘IOU’. Then when May rolls around, it will bring something extremely beautiful with it.
After all, the beginning of spring is when we should celebrate love, not the chill month of February, no…?

Egyptian Gucci
Here’s something a little unusual for the season: the gold GG Lame from Gucci.
This little purse isn’t brightly coloured like all the other ‘in’ purses right now – it’s quite old-fashioned in terms of style and very Arabian Nights in terms of design.
Gold is one of the hardest looks to pull off — it’s so easy for it to look tacky or overdone. This purse, however, works. It looks elegant and tasteful, because of the gold rather than in spite of it.
The zipper has a strangely lovely little crystal fly attached to it — a crystal fly with gold wings.
It’s a very striking purse, even if it isn’t strictly beautiful – it catches your eye and keeps your attention for quite a while.

Tis The Season
It’s getting colder by day, which only means one thing… the party season is almost upon us! I think you’ll agree when I say that you can’t possibly prepare yourself too early for it—the last thing you want to do when rushing last-minute around the shops on Christmas Eve is freaking out out about how that perfect dress you have does not have a perfect purse to go with it.
Gucci have some rather lovely purses this year. The one pictured above is an evening clutch, beautiful baroque design and detailing, very posh and very pretty.
This red one is lovely simply because it is roomy enough to carry whatever you need to get you through the night… :p
