Ferrrrrrrrrragamo!
This highly unique wallet is the Fiera Continental from Salvatore Ferragamo, a colorful, eye-catching little purse and one of the highlights of Ferragamo’s new season collection.
Made of black fabric with leather trim and silver hardware, the resplendent jungle-animal print is delightfully 1960′s Italian couture – and that tiger really is a deliciously retro touch.
Like all Ferragamo purses, it is beautifully made and will last for as long as you need it to!

Ferragamo’s Hobo
As a nice change from the very ‘in-season’ bags floating around recently, we’re going to take a look at this hobo from Salvatore Ferragamo.
Just look at it – look at its size! It’s about a mediumish bag, perfect for daytime, just roomy enough to carry around all your essentials and still have room to spare.
What it isn’t is big enough to carry a toddler around in – unlike a lot of the purses this summer. Now don’t me wrong, I think the big-purse trend is rather fabulous – but now a lot of the big purses are so big that they are looking larger than the women carrying them!
So it’s something of a return to sanity with this purse – its a gorgeous leather bag with gold hardware and extremely beautiful craftsmanship.
Now, you may not be able to carry a Doberman around in it – but hey, you can’t have it all right?

Sssalvatore!
This has got to be the most Italian purse I have ever seen in my life.
Ever.
It’s the Gancini Anaconda Shoulder Bag from Salvatore Ferragamo – a slitheringly golden snakeskin leather purse with gold hardware and a cute little front ‘pouch’.
If this purse were a person it would be a J-Lo/Carmela Soprano/Beverly Hills housewife mix… although pretty much any kind of woman could have fun with this purse in some way or other.
Rather unusually, there’s no clasp of any sort – it’s just an open-top purse, which isn’t really a surprise – would <i>you</i> even consider trying to steal from a woman who swung this sort of bag around?
I didn’t think so.

Ferragamo Style
What we have here is the Woven Leather Hobo from Salvatore Ferragamo — made from, you guessed it, woven leather. The hardware is gold and there are zips, tassles and tags all over the place.
I don’t know why this purse is so instantly likable, but there is just something about it… the style is so seventies, so quirky — like someone took a sweater and made a purse out of it. In the best possible way.
Whatever is it, it works — and anyway. It’s Ferragamo.
When you have beautiful Italian leather and exquisite attention to detail, you don’t really have to wonder about how and why the end result is so fetching, now do you.

Toil And Trouble
Continuing in their style of rather macabre purses, this particular one from the Ferragamo line caught my eye simply because, for a moment or two, I thought it was a cauldron.
It certainly has that whole squat, shiny look to it, not to mention the obscenely delicate chain handle emphasizing the evil design of the whole. The leather is not patent (despite that silvery sheen) but merely the excellent quality we expect from Team Salvatore.
Halloween is upon us, and no slutty witch should be without her Ferragamo Cauldron Purse (as it shall henceforth be known to me).
Darkly gorgeous… I love it.
Romance, Italian Style
Sometimes, I see a purse that just makes me just sit back and sigh with delight. Delight and intense longing, but mostly delight. This is usually what happens when I see a Ferragamo purse. The slight intake of breath, the biting of the lower lip… oh, this is romance, alright.
They’re just so incredibly charming… so cute, so special. Ferragamo have always been famous for their shoes, but I think their purses deserve just as much praise. The leather is what you would expect from the long-term experts in Milan, ad it’s <i>just</i> the right side of decadent, too. You can tell this range is made by people who genuinely love fashion and understand what women look for in a purse.
The purse pictured above… I love that shade of green, but even more I love that it’s roomy enough to carry all my junk (and I do tend to carry a <i>lot</i> of junk). It’s just perfect for Saturday afternoon shopping… in some gorgeous jeans and high heels… adorable.
It’s a signature piece, and if you love receiving envious looks from other women, you simply have to own at least one.
